Indications :
The use of a combination drug with an anti-infective component is indicated Where the risk of superficial ocular infection is high or where there is an Expectation that potentially dangerous numbers of bacteria will be present in the eye.
Dosage :
Instill one drop in the affected eye 3 times a day or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications :
Moxifloxacin and Ketorolac ophthalmic solution is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin, to other quinolones, ketorolac or to any of the components in this medication.
Warnings & precautions : Moxifloxacin :
Not for injection. Moxifloxacin solution should not be injected subconjunctivally, nor should it be introduced directly into the anterior chamber of the eye. Ketorolac tromethamine There is the potential for cross-sensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid, phenylacetic acid derivatives, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents. Therefore, caution should be used when treating individuals who have previously exhibited sensitivities to these drugs. Pregnancy :
Since there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Occumox KT should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Lactation :
Caution should be exercised when Occumox KT is administered to a nursing mother. Pediatric Use :
Not recommended below 3 years of age
